Pre-Tour
June 30-July 6
The tour will start in Regina & conclude in Saskatoon.
For those flying internationally, it is suggested that you fly into Regina International Airport (YQR). Be sure to use the Air Canada discount code for reduced fare (find above).
July 1st is Canada Day, a National holiday, and as of June 28th, the Saskatchewan schools start their summer breaks, so we expect the airports and car rentals to be busy that weekend. We recommend you schedule to land in Regina by the 29th at the latest.
Accompanying Persons
We welcome those accompanying delegates to the 24th Congress of the International Farm Management Association to Treaty Six Territory and the Homeland of the Metis in Saskatoon for two exciting days of culture and tours during the congress.
On Monday, we plan on touring the city of Saskatoon, which would include a riverboat ride on the Prairie Lily, and a visit to the Ukrainian Heritage Museum, followed by a visit to the historic Broadway district of Saskatoon.
On Wednesday, we will venture outside of the city. Tentative plans include a leisurely train ride in Wakaw, Saskatchewan, a trip back to the city for dessert and at the Berry Barn.
The fee also includes the welcome reception at Waneskewin Heritage Park on Sunday, the dinner on Wednesday evening at the Western Development Museum, and the closing gala on Thursday at the Remai Modern.
